json-image-pagination

The goal of the plugin is to make the task of paging picture something simple and fast (very fast) in all client-side. Imagine that your thumbs gallery has over 2,000 images. How to make a layout of these images efficiently and quickly? The idea is based on 2 assumptions: 1.JSON is very fast. 2.Change the src of an object is much faster than creating a new object . The core of the plugin follows this idea. To operate, simply create a JSON object containing the name of the images. Change some properties as "path" and everything works perfectly. Among the features of the plugin are: 1. Easy to create your template images 2. Speed. Quickly. 3. Pagination friendly (Option to go to page "X", forward, back) 4. URL hash

Lightweight Rich Text Editor (RTE / WYSIWYG) for jQuery Do you need really lightweight and unbloated Rich Text Editor (RTE / WYSIWYG) for JQuery and ability to extend it as you want? So you at right place. Why yet another "lightweight" RTE editor? The major reason - i couldn't find RTE editor: without any built-in toolbars (you can turn off controls only, but this's other case), really jQuery plugin, but not wrapper (I'm using jQuery in my projects, that's why best choice - real jQuery plugin), easy to extend (for example - file uploads). different toolbars for design mode and source mode I tried to make this Rich Text Editor as simple as possible to be easily changed according your needs. The file "jquery.rte.js" is only 10kb uncompressed. This has all that your editor probably need, but has no any built-in toolbars - you can extend it easily as you want. I also provided basic toolbar (actually it has almost same features as other WYSIWYG editors), include Image/File uploads (you will have to configure your server script for uploads or update "uploader.php" from example). This editor is compatible with major browsers (IE6, Firefox 2, Opera 9, Safari 3.03) and degrade gracefully in a textarea for others. P.S.: Tested with jQuery 1.2.6 and 1.3 Usage: $('.rte').rte({ css: ['default.css'], controls_rte: rte_toolbar, controls_html: html_toolbar }); OR $('.rte').rte({ css: ['default.css'], base_url: 'http://mysite.com', frame_class: 'frameBody', width: 350, height: 400, controls_rte: rte_toolbar, controls_html: html_toolbar }); Plugin has no any built-in toolbars, so you have to provide it. Lucky, I created one (with almost any feature that you probably will need, include image uploads and file attachments), so you can use it :) Plugin has only RTE/WYSIWYG editor's API, but no any controls/toobars. In that way you can use own specific version of editor for projects. Check Wiki for documentation and API.

jquery-form-extensions

IntroductionJquery Form Extensions is a small plugin to assist with common form-related tasks in jQuery. It doesn't provide automated form validation, form to JSON or anything similar. It's a set of methods for common form tasks. Most of these are easily achieved with jQuery, this plugin aims to give a more fluent API which in the process helps to make the code more readable, testable and concise. Coming from a .NET background, the naming of the functions is geared towards the ASP.NET controls, however it should be intuitive to most frameworks. DownloadThe downloads comes as either the minified script, or a full zip with the tests (and example usage) and un-minified source. The un-minified source contains Javascript documentation and Visual Studio friendly documentation too. Example// elementExists is also added if ($("#someid").elementExists()) alert("found it"); // Select box related $("#mydropdown").isDropDownList(); // Can be any of the items from a list of radio boxes - it will use the name $("#randomradioboxitem").isRadioBox("myvalue"); $("#radioboxitem").isSelected("myvalue"); // The value of the item selected. For multiple selects it's the first value $("#radioboxitem").selectedValue(); // Various, others include password, hidden. Buttons also $("#mytextbox").isTextBox(); $("#mycheck").isCheckBox(); $("#multi-select").isSelected("one", "two", "three"); // Returns the 'type' property or 'select-one' 'select-multiple' var fieldType = $("#someid").formElementType();Documentation(Full documentation is coming shortly) Functions added: elementExists() formElementType() - returns a string isTextBox() isTextArea() isPassword() isHiddenInput() isCheckBox() isRadioBox() isButton() isSubmitButton() isResetButton() isSelectBox() isMultiSelectBox() isDropDownList() isChecked() itemExists(item) - item is a string value to compare Select box (and radiobox) relatedisSelected(val) - val is a string value to compare selectedItem() - returns a jQuery object firstSelectedItem() - returns a jQuery object lastSelectedItem() - returns a jQuery object selectedValue() - returns a string selectedValues() - returns an array of strings The textbox and button functions don't necessarily add much value to the plugin, but are there for completeness. ContributingRecommendations for improvements to the source or new functions are welcome, or contributing as a member. Some features that would be nice to add would be add/removal functions for select boxes.

limelite

Lime is a Javascript framework created in 2005. Further development was deemed unnecessary due to the superiority and magic of jQuery. It contains a few interesting unique features such as AJAX HTTP event handlers, a built in debugging console that makes heavy use of introspection, and a mechanism for one-time "requiring" and importing of Javascript components.
